“mātrā-sparśhās tu kaunteya śhītoṣhṇa-sukha-duḥkha-dāḥ

āgamāpāyino ’nityās tans-titikṣhasva bhārata”

Learn to tolerate— 

No situation is everlasting in this life. Challenges may come and go!

  • Verse 21 (From Chapter 16)

“त्रिविधं नरकस्येदं द्वारं नाशनमात्मन: | 

काम: क्रोधस्तथा लोभस्तस्मादेतत्त्रयं त्यजेत् || 21 ||”

“tri-vidhaṁ narakasyedaṁ dvāraṁ nāśhanam ātmanaḥ

kāmaḥ krodhas tathā lobhas tasmād etat trayaṁ tyajet”

— Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 16, Verse 21

There are three gateways to destruction— Lust, Greed, and Anger.

“कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन | 

मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि || 47 ||”

“karmaṇy-evādhikāras te mā phaleṣhu kadāchana

mā karma-phala-hetur bhūr mā te saṅgo ’stvakarmaṇi”

Focus on your action and not on the results

Focus your attention on actions rather than on outcomes you cannot predict. If the results do not meet your expectations, you are bound to experience disappointment.
